Outreach Programs

MMSB’s Environmental Education programs are innovative, interactive, and grounded in experiential learning theory. We help teach your students about the importance of reducing, reusing, recycling, and rethinking for a greener future in Newfoundland and Labrador while bringing the environment to life right in your classroom.

Since 2008, MMSB staff have delivered more than 1900 presentations to 176 schools across Newfoundland and Labrador, impacting more than 47,000 students. This year we’re planning to travel to areas of the island we’ve never reached – to visit new schools and meet more of our province’s youth!

Schedule a presentation!

Email schools@mmsb.nl.ca or call toll free 1-800-901-6672 to arrange an presentation for your classroom or use our classroom resources to supplement your lesson plans.
