Newfoundlanders and Labradorians can now properly dispose of paint in a convenient and environmentally friendly manner through Product Care Association’s PaintRecycle program. Bring your left-over paint to one of the paint collections sites now in place throughout the province.
All household paint products and containers are accepted. Paint aerosols of all types, including automotive, craft and industrial products are also accepted in the PaintRecycle program. You can find a complete list of accepted paint products on the Product Care website.
Left over paint collected throughout Newfoundland and Labrador will be recycled into new paint.

About the Paint Recycling Program: In 2010, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council amended the Waste Management Regulations under the Environmental Protection Act to include the establishment of an Extended Producer Responsibility or EPR program for the management of waste paint in Newfoundland and Labrador. Paint producers retailing paint in Newfoundland and Labrador appointed Product Care Association as the industry steward responsible for operating, administering and managing the paint recycling program on their behalf in Newfoundland and Labrador. The PaintRecycle Program was officially announced on May 2, 2012.
