Habitat for Humanity NL
Habitat for Humanity NL is a non-profit organization that builds and renovates homes by the community, for the community. Their storefront location in St. John’s, Habitat NL ReStore, restores and resells donated usable home improvement items like building materials, furniture, appliances and more. Proceeds from each sale at ReStore go towards helping local families attain home ownership.
Habitat NL is passionate about waste diversion – every dollar in sales keeps about 1.31 lbs of solid waste out of our landfills! And, with their new satellite ReStore location in Corner Brook, they can now encourage even more consumers across the province to think sustainably about their waste – and to always seek out the next best use before defaulting to the landfill!
