HDPE Bottlecap Recycling Program
Students at Brother Rice Junior High in St. John’s are truly taking recycling into their own hands! The school collects used plastic bottle caps, and HDPE Bottlecap Recycling Program students shred them and turn them into new products—entirely at school. The students already have big plans for next year, when they hope to move beyond drink coasters to more complex products.
