- Hebert’s Recycling
Hebert’s Recycling Inc. is a New Brunswick-based, family-owned recycling company with a recycling centre location in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador. They work with MMSB to collect, process, and transport recyclable materials from our province’s Green Depot locations.
Hebert’s Recycling holds a contract with MMSB for the collection, transportation, and processing of materials for the Used Beverage Container Recycling Program. In 2018, MMSB was thrilled to extend this partnership even further as Hebert’s began to purchase all plastics from the program, which get ground into flakes right here in our province to be used by various manufacturers. Thanks to the residents of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Green Depot network, and partners like Hebert’s, we have kept over 1.4 billion plastic containers out of our landfills since 1997, allowing them to be recycled into new products like medical supplies, fabric, insulation for clothing, or new packaging.
