St. Lewis Academy
As a new volunteer opportunity for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, one St. Lewis Academy student has been working with businesses and organizations across St. Lewis to keep their recycling for weekly collection, cleaning, and logging. This new program builds a more sustainable community while offering students more opportunities to gain interpersonal skills and share their language, American Sign Language, with business owners and the public.
