Reading Specialist Colleen Powers supported students Caleb and Gabe Dawe in launching the Upper Gullies Elementary Earth Club with one goal in mind: to promote environmental literacy in their school. Their passion turned into a full-fledged team of over 20 students with big voices in support of our planet. Their motto? “Do one thing” – if everyone made just one change in their lives to help the environment, the Earth would be a better place.
