As a local farm and B&B, Upper Humber Settlement provides sustainable food for the Deer Lake region and allows visitors to experience life on a working farm. Owner operator Lauralee Ledrew is an educator at heart, helping others become their own sustainable food producers. As part of NL Young Farmers, Lauralee represents the next generation of farmers, who are working to reduce waste, reuse materials, and lessen their carbon footprint.

Upper Humber Settlement is a small farm and bed and breakfast owned and operated by Mark and Lauralee Ledrew. Since 2015, Upper Humber has been growing sustainable food, teaching others how to become more food secure, and passing on their environmentally-friendly practices to the next generation of farmers.
