- Oil & Glycol Recycling Program
Used oil and glycol require safe disposal.
These products contain toxic chemicals and heavy metals that should never be put in the garbage or poured down the drain.

In Newfoundland & Labrador, used oil and glycol is handled through an industry-led Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) organization called the Used Oil Management Association (UOMA).
Residents can properly dispose of used oil and glycol products at various drop-off locations across the province. Businesses that generate a quantity of used oil products can find a Registered UOMA Collector and have the products picked up. In Newfoundland & Labrador, government regulations prohibit disposing of oil or glycol in the garbage or pouring it down your drain.
